How to Enrol

Selecting St Finbar's Primary Glenbrook, will give your child the best opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially, and in partnership with Catholic education.

St Finbar's is accepting enrolments now, for children eligible to commence Kindergarten next year.

Enrolment enquiries are also welcome for primary school aged children seeking enrolment during the school year.

School tours can be arranged on request by contacting the school office on 4724 3600 weekdays, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, or by sending us an email.

Enrolment Procedure

Step 1:

Step 2:
Review the enrolment instructions

Before completing the Enrolment Application, read the Enrolment Instructions and Checklist for relevant supporting documents in the Enrolment Application Form.

Enrolment packages containing the Enrolment Instructions and Application Forms are also available from the school office.

Step 3:
Enrolment Application

Complete and submit an Enrolment Application Form A and Form B. Form C and/or Form D should be completed and submitted too, if applicable.

The completed Enrolment Application Forms, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted in person to our school office. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement.

Step 4:
Enrolment Interview

All students seeking enrolment at St Finbar's Catholic Primary are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend the interview.

Step 5:
Enrolment Acceptance

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the $100 non-refundable Enrolment Deposit by the requested date to secure your position. This deposit contributes towards your first term school-based fees.

NEW IN 2017 - Out of School Hours Care 

We are excited to announce that our before and after school care on-site facility will commence in 2017. It will be operated and managed within the school, although separately, by Catholic Out of School Hours Care. This will be a wonderful facility, available for enrolment, for our students only. It has the added reassurance that children do not have to travel outside the school grounds for supervised care.
